huw_webHuw Thomas started out in business and finance journalism, before being bitten by the travel and tourism bug. He’s worked for Visit Britain, Visit Wales, Fodor’s Travel Guides, viaMichelin.co.uk travel website, Reader’s Digest, Insight Travel Guides, AA Publishing and many more besides. His work encompasses everything from punchy marketing copy for advertising campaigns to managing editorship of major publications (the most recent Wales Golf guide, published by Visit Wales, being just one example). Alongside his work in print media, he also builds, overhauls and manages websites for clients ranging from small community groups to major tourism authorities, and acts as managing editor for Visit Wales’s golf website. In his free time he’s part of the team behind the award-winning Roathcardiff hyperlocal site and Twitter feed, and can be found playing bass guitar in various bands at a pub/wedding/music festival near you.
